The Seven Wonders of The Ancient World
In the Ancient times there were the Seven Wonders of the World, which were created by people to glorify beauty and entreat gods and emperors. They were all buildings and statues.
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World are:
1) The Pharos, lighthouse of Alexandria
2) The Hanging Gardents of Babylon
3) The Statue of Zeus at Olimpia
4) The Colossus of Rhodes
5) The Pyramids of Egypt
6) The Tomb of Mausolus
7) The Temple of Diana
It is nice to have such a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the last two centuries we have seen unprecedented technical and scientific achievements. Nowadays most of the wonders are the products of science and technology.

The list as I've seen it has just the one pyramid—that of Khufu (sometimes appears as Cheops, based on the Greek form of his name). It's the oldest of the Seven Wonders, and the only one still existing. I have an idea that there were variations of the list, even in ancient times, so some versions may very well have the pyramids, plural, not just that of Khufu.
not that there's much left of it, but it was still exciting
